Prof. Dr. Syed Izhar Hussain Zaidi has completed his Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from Sir Syed University of Eng. And Tech in 1999 and MPhil/PhD from University of Bristol, UK in 2010. He has extensive experience of Research and Development including Project Management in the industry. He has been attached to academia on various instances during his tenure in Pakistan’s National Space Agency (SUPARCO) and NESCOM. His research areas include Digital Signal Processing, Information Technology/Systems, IOT, Smart Cities, Software Defined Radio, Embedded Systems (FPGA’s, Microcontrollers, NOC based SOCs), state of the art digital systems and related applications.

Engr. Prem Singh received his M.E (Telecommunication & Control System) from Mehran University Jamshoro in 2006 and B.E (Electronic Engineering) NED University Karachi 1999. Mr. Prem Singh has 17 years of teaching experience at DUET Karachi. Prem Singh Joined Dawood University of Engineering and Technology in 2000 as lecturer and promoted to Assistant Professor in 2009.He is registered as professional Engineer. Prem Singh is teaching subjects like Telecommunication System design and applications, Electronic devices and Circuits and Digital Logic Design. Research topic in Master’s Thesis was TCP/IP with Mobile Networking.

Engr. Matloob Ahmed Khan received his Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Khuzdar University of Engineering & Technology, Baluchistan Pakistan in 1995. Received MS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Hamdard University, Karachi Pakistan. He worked almost 10 years in different Universities in Pakistan and joined Dawood College of Engineering and Technology in 2009 as an Assistant Professor. His current areas of interest include Digital Signal Processing, Information Theory & Coding, Signal & Systems and Electromagnetic Field Theory.

He received his first Masters Degree in Computers Science from Wichita State University, Kansas, USA in 2005. Later he received his second Masters Degree in Computer Networking rom Wichita State University, Kansas, USA in 2010. His Current areas of interest include Telemedicine, E-Health, M-helath, IOT, Big Data, Mobile Computing and Data Science applications in Telecommunication Sector.

Engr. Ayesha Amir Siddiqi has completed her BE with distinction from NEDUET in 2006. She has served PTCL from 2006-2008 as an Operations Engineer Switching. She received her degree of Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from NEDUET in 2010. She is currently enrolled in PhD (Electrical Engineering) from NEDUET. Her current areas of interest are Digital Image processing and Signal Processing.

Dr. Engr. Dost Muhammad Saqib Bhatti

Dr. Bhatti is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology Karachi. He received his Bachelors of Engineering degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro Pakistan in 2011 and Ms-Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea in 2017. He has worked in Huawei for 1 year as a Team Lead on CMPAK project for 3G/4G swap. During his stay at Hanyang University, he has worked on various research projects. He has wide experience of teaching, industry and research. Dr. Bhatti’s research interests are in modeling, designing and performance analysis of wireless communication system with current emphasis on spectrum sensing, fuzzy logic, multidimensional scaling, cognitive Radio Networks and Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA).

Engr. Rizwan Iqbal received his Bachelors of Engineering degree in Electronics from Dawood College of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2012, the M.S. degree in Network & Telecommunication from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2014. Now he is a PhD Scholar, enrolled in Hamdard University, with major of Electrical Engineering and Specialization in Communication Systems and Networks. He is also a member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He worked with Irshadi Traders in the capacity of Assistant Manager for two and half years then joined Dawood University of Engineering and Technology as a Lecturer in Department of Telecommunication Engineering in 2014. His research interests include optical fiber, optics technique, microwaves, radio waves over fiber optics and 5G. At present, He is engaged in radio over fiber with various scenarios. His research work based on Radio Over Fiber resulted in several publications.

Engineer Farhan Ahmed is computer engineer, graduated from Mehran UET Jamshoro in 2011. He is perusing his Masters in Computer Communication & Networks from IBA Sukkur University and has successfully completed his coursework. He has a vast experience of more than 5 years in Academia and industry. He is author of published Lab book named “learning Communication systems using MATLAB”. His area of interests, not limited to, are IOT, Big Data Analytics, Secure hybrid Fog Computing and Image Processing.

Engr. Zeeshan Ali has joined Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology as Lecturer in February 2015. Mr. Ali earned a Master degree from University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ (Italy) in “Advance Communication & Satellite Navigation System” under the European Commission’s scholarship named as ‘Erasmus Mundus’ and a Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro, during master degree he has worked on different projects of European Space Agency (ESA), SERCO SpA Limited, Rome, Italy. Later on, he joined QUEST as a lecturer and then he went and pursued for specializing course on Satellite Navigation system from Politecnito di torino, Italy. Currently Mr. Ali has 4 publications in international conferences and supervised many undergraduate group of students. Engr. Zeeshan Ali has achieved many international and national honors/awards like he has also been selected/won scholarship for the summer course in Tokyo-Japan for a week on Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS. He has an honor of became the life member of Japan Science club ‘Sakura’. Mr. Ali has been invited to be a keynote speaker and chair in an international conference.

Engr. Bushra Shaikh had obtained her B.Eng in Telecommunication from Mehran UET, Jamshoro in 2011, securing 3rd position with 3.84 CGPA. In 2014, she had earned the degree of M.Eng in Communication Systems and Networks from Mehran UET with 3.8 CGPA. She has rendered her services as a Lecturer at QUEST, NUML and IMSA. She was chosen by European Commission to pursue her final semester of graduation at University of Malaga, Spain under the umbrella of Erasmus Mundus – Mobility of life project. Her current areas of interest include Spectrum sensing and spectrum management in Cognitive Radio, Internet of Things and Wireless sensor networks.

Engr.Jitander Kumar Pabani received his M.E (Telecommunication Engineering) from Hamdard University Karachi in 2014 and B.E (Telecommunication Engineering) from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro in 2011. Mr.Kumar has almost six years of teaching experience. He is currently working as a Lecturer at DUET Karachi prior to this he worked as Lecturer at Hamdard University Karachi. He also worked as BSS Commissioning Engineer at Alcatel Lucent Karachi. Mr. Kumar has wide experience of PEC activities including Outcome based education (OBE). The research interest of Mr. Kumar includes IoT, Signal Processing and Wireless Sensor networks.

She received two gold medals and one silver medal on securing top faculty position. She was top graduate of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology of Batch 2011. She is doing Masters in Telecommunication from NED University of Engineering And Technology. She is Microsoft office certified in MS-office & MS-power point certified. She is member of Pakistan Engineering Congress. Her current areas of interest include handover in uplink/downlink decoupling, heterogeneous cellular networks, spectrum sensing and cognitive radio Networks.
