The thesis topics/ ideas were modeled within different zones ranging from the health care projects to educational and training based institutions, from social issues to the environmentally response architecture and emerging rather challenging projects like landfill to the highly contentious topics such as heritage conservation and adoptive reuse. While instructing the course the student-teacher ratio was carefully placed to avoid any sort of maltreatment which resulted in 40 diversified and very fine tuned thesis projects. The methodology followed for thesis was studio based where students were encouraged to do the field surveys (where applied) and critical thinking over various aspects. The results of the research were based on the analysis of the questionnaires, field records, interviews, statistics and literature review in form of library/ archival research.

The research was made pertinent by regular input of the experts in form of lectures and workshops including the interactive discussions by the structural engineers and the MVP experts. Separate workshops based on the professional model making and presentation skills helped students develop their projects in near professional fashion which was highly appreciated among the jurors. The quality of work was assured by passing each stage of the thesis research and design through a panel of jury experts.
