The Directorate of Postgraduate Studies was established at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology in 2017 under the directorship of Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Shah. In 2018, the university launched MS and PhD programs in Chemical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Following the success of these programs, the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies expanded its offerings to include MS and Ph.D. programs in several fields, including Industrial Engineering and Management, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, and Telecommunication Engineering in successive years. The programs offering further expanded by launching the MS and PhD programs of Computer Engineering and Environmental Engineering. This year a new program of MS landscape Architecture is also launched. Currently, the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies has over 100 registered students across all programs. Notably, the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies has graduated over 50 MS students with theses completing their research work in various programs in a short span.
